Short answers to the questions we get most often.
- Do I need an account to browse?
- No. Browsing, filtering and the map are public. You need an account to subscribe to alerts, publish a CFP or use the API.
- Why do I have to activate my e-mail?
- Activation proves the address belongs to you. It is required before creating a CFP or requesting an API key. The activation link is valid for 5 minutes; you can resend it from your profile.
- How do subscription e-mails work?
- When a new or updated CFP matches your areas, topics or countries, the daily job sends one short digest. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can change your selections at any time under Profile → Subscriptions.
- Can I publish a CFP for my own event?
- Yes. Sign in with an activated account, choose Create CFP, and fill in the acronym, dates, location, areas, topics and description. It appears in the public list immediately and you can edit or delete it later from My CFPs.
- How do I get an API key?
- Profile → API key → Create key. The key is valid for 90 days and is shown masked; use the copy button. Rotating the key immediately invalidates the previous one. See the API documentation for endpoints.
- The map is missing my conference. Why?
- Only conferences with a known city appear on the map. Others are still available in the list view.
- How do I report a wrong or inappropriate CFP?
- E-mail [email protected] with the CFP link. Administrators can remove entries from the admin area.
